Background

This film is a look into the life of Angela Bains, a prolific graphic designer who chose an off-beat career in sixties orthodox London, leading her to make waves in the Anti-Apartheid movement and build a successful design business focused on creating social change.

Our documentary approaches Angela's story from the angle of her journey from London to Vancouver, including the struggles she faced as a woman of colour during her career and the struggles of getting her business to where it is today.
